Teaching your teenager anything may seem like an impossible task, but it's not. You just need to work alongside him or her to act as a teacher and make sure things get done. If you're struggling to teach your teenager how to clean house, follow these steps for success.

What You'll Need:

• Bounty paper towels
• Two feather dusters
• Your favorite furniture polish
• A vacuum
• Your favorite window cleaner
• Your favorite bathroom cleaners
• Your favorite kitchen cleaners

Instructions:

1. Start in the living room. Pick up clutter with your teenager, and put things in their proper place: couch pillows, magazines, et cetera.
2. Give your teenager one of the feather dusters and take the other one.
3. Spray a small amount of furniture polish on both.
4. Start at one side of the living room, and ask your teenager to start at the other side.
5. Begin dusting all wooden surfaces, showing your teenager how to do it.
6. Continue wiping all wooden surfaces.
7. Next, ask your teenager to help you clean the television screen, glass-covered pictures, and other glass surfaces in the room using window cleaner and Bounty paper towels.
8. Learning how to clean house includes cleaning the floors as well. Show your teenager how to use the vacuum cleaner, and move furniture around for him or her as he or she vacuums the floor.
9. Continue this pattern of working together as you go from room to room.
10. Use your favorite cleaners in the proper rooms of the home, making sure your teenager understands the proper use for all of them.
