At Home with Bounty

Cleaning windows can be a cumbersome and aggravating chore if you don't have the right equipment. Here is a list of window cleaning equipment you should have, and how to use it, to take the awkwardness out of cleaning windows.

What You'll Need:

• Your favorite window cleaner
• Bounty paper towels
• A stepladder
• A sponge
• A bucket of warm water
• A window squeegee

Instructions:

1. Fold out both the top and bottom panes of your windows.
2. Add some window cleaner to your bucket of warm water.
3. Using the sponge, wash the inside and outside of the window frame with the water/cleaner mixture.
4. Use the squeegee to remove any excess water that gets on the fold-down windows. To properly use this piece of window cleaning equipment, place the rubber side of the squeegee against the window surface. Lightly press down and glide the squeegee across the window. Repeat until all the water is removed from the window pane.
5. Wipe the window frame with Bounty paper towels.
6. Spray your favorite window cleaner on the outside of the top window, and wipe it thoroughly with paper towels.
7. Fold the window back into place.
8. Repeat this process on the outside of the bottom window pane and fold it back into place.
9. Spray the top of the inside window and wipe it dry with paper towels.
10. Repeat on the inside of the bottom window.
11. If you use the stepladder to reach the top area of the window frame, be sure it's placed on an even surface, and make sure it's locked into the open position.
12. Empty the bucket and wipe the inside of it with paper towels.
13. Store all window cleaning equipment in a proper place, and dispose of used paper towels.
