What You'll Need:

• A medium-sized bowl
• A medium-sized bowl of water
• Aluminum foil
• Baking soda
• A measuring cup
• Tongs
• A microwave
• Bounty paper towels

Instructions:

1. Place the bowl of water in a microwave, and heat it until it is boiling or close to boiling.
2. Line the other bowl with aluminum foil.

4. Add 3/4-cup to 1 cup of baking soda to the water and stir the mixture until it is dissolved.

6. Leave the silver pieces in the water for a few minutes. You'll see flakes of tarnish floating in the water as the process works.
7. Lay some Bounty paper towel sheets on the counter.

9. Place items on the Bounty paper towels.
10. Empty water solution into sink, and toss the aluminum foil in the trash.
11. Dry the silver pieces thoroughly with Bounty paper towels.
12. Thoroughly wash the bowls and tongs before using them again.
