At Home with Bounty

If you're looking for ways to create more space for storage in your home, you should take a closer look at your closets. Closet organization is a great way to create more storage space throughout your home. It's easy, it's quick, and it's relatively inexpensive.

What You'll Need:

• Assorted totes of various sizes
• Bounty paper towels
• Your favorite all-purpose cleaner
• Sticky-backed labels
• A pen

Instructions:

1. Begin by going through any clothing you have in your closet. If you haven't worn something in the last 6 months, toss it.
2. Remove everything from the top shelf of the closet.
3. Spray the shelf with your favorite all-purpose cleaner and wipe it clean with Bounty paper towels.
4. Place the items that were on that shelf, into the totes. Organize them however you want, and use however many totes you need.
5. Place a sticky-backed label on the end of each tote, and label what's inside. This step of closet organization is crucial because it allows you to know where things are without having to tear the closet apart looking for something.
6. Stack totes on the shelf, making sure the labels are facing out. Smaller sized totes are more appropriate for the shelf area because they will be easier to put up and get down.
7. Remove everything from the floor of the closet.
8. Toss things you don't need anymore, and remove any items that would be better stored elsewhere.
9. Place the remaining items into appropriate-sized totes, and label them the same way you labeled the other totes. It's a good idea to spray the outside of the tote where the label will go, with your favorite all-purpose cleaner, and wipe it with Bounty paper towels. This will assure a good adhesion.
10. Place totes back into your closet, stacking them if possible.
11. Complete your closet organization by doing the same process in every closet in your home.
