At Home with Bounty

A barbecue is always lots of fun, but barbeque cleaning is an entirely different thing. Here are some great tips for cleaning your barbecue that will leave you, your clothes, and your grill clean and ready for your next barbecue.

What You'll Need:

• A wire brush
• An abrasive scrubbing pad
• Olive oil
• A cooking brush
• A bucket of warm water
• A degreasing cleaner
• Bounty paper towels
• An apron
• Rubber gloves

Instructions:

1. Put on your apron to help protect your clothing from becoming dirty.
2. Fire up your grill, and let it heat up.
3. Use the wire brush to brush the grill down before you cook anything. This will remove any residue that may be left from earlier use.
4. Using the cooking brush, spread olive oil all over the grill.
5. Store the brush in a slightly folded Bounty paper towel until the next use to prevent it from becoming dirty.
6. Cook to your heart's content!
7. Before you turn off your grill, use the wire brush again to scrub the grill.
8. Once the grill has cooled, add some degreaser cleaner to a bucket of warm water.
9. Put on the rubber gloves and use the abrasive pad to clean your grill with the water solution.
10. Wipe the grill with Bounty paper towels.
11. Repeat steps 9 and 10 until the grill is clean.
12. Using Bounty paper towels, rub a generous amount of olive oil onto the grill. Storing the grill with a coat of oil on it will make barbecue cleaning much easier the next time you use your grill.
13. Empty and rinse the bucket, and wipe it dry with Bounty paper.
14. Repeat these barbecue cleaning tips and tricks each time you fire up the grill.
