Mother's Day crafts cards projects that are quick and easy to make are often the most memorable. This is the one day of the year when moms are officially celebrated for all they do. With a few simple craft items, children of all ages can make a Mother's Day card that doubles as a gift. This handcrafted, framed photo and fan card is sure to be a memorable keepsake. Adult supervision required.

What You'll Need:

• Craft sticks
• Craft glue or a glue gun
• Craft paint or markers
• A photo
• Construction paper
• Safety scissors
• Bounty paper towels (for cleanup)

Instructions:

1. Using craft paint or markers, paint 10 craft sticks in whatever colors you'd like and allow the paint to dry completely.
2. Using craft glue or a glue gun, glue four craft sticks together to make a square shape. Make two of these.
3. Place one of the squares on top of a piece of construction paper to use as a guide and cut two pieces of the construction paper to fit on the craft stick square.
4. With craft glue, glue the photo to the center of one of the pieces of construction paper.
5. Write a poem or Mother's Day message on the center of the other piece of construction paper.
6. Put craft glue on the back of each piece of construction paper and attach the two pieces.
7. Using craft glue or a glue gun, make a line of glue around the craft stick frame.
8. Attach the picture and the message to the frame.
9. Glue the remaining two craft sticks together for the handle.
10. Glue the handle to the bottom center of the frame.
11. Put a line of glue around the remaining frame and attach it to the front of the other piece.
12. Allow the glue to dry completely before using the Mother's Day crafts cards.
