Friendship bracelets are fun to put together for your friends, and they make a great gift to share what your friendship means to you. A faith bracelet is an interesting alternative to the typical friendship bracelet. With a few beads that represent different things, you can make a colorful bracelet to give to a friend. Adult supervision required.

What You'll Need:

• Leather bracelet cord
• Beads in five different colors: yellow, green, blue, red, and clear
• Safety scissors
• Glue
• Bounty paper towels (for cleanup)

Instructions:

1. Tie a knot in the bracelet cord about 4 inches from the end.
2. Feed the yellow bead on the cord. This bead symbolizes the light in the world. Add a dab of glue under the bead when it is in place to hold it there.
3. Add the green bead next. This bead represents the earth and trees. Again, secure the bead in place with a dab of glue.
4. Slide the blue bead on after the green. The blue bead represents water. Glue it in place.
5. Slide on the red bead to represent love for others. Glue it in place on the cord.
6. Cut off any extra bracelet cord.
7. Slide one end of the cord through the clear bead. Feed the other end of the cord through the same bead in the opposite direction. The clear bead represents a clear view of our life.
8. Tie knots in the end of the bracelet cord to complete the faith bracelet. Pull the cord ends back and forth through the clear bead to tighten and loosen the bracelet to take it on and off.
