Even doing something extremely simple, like making these festive strawberries, can add a lot to the table at your celebration. This is the perfect food preparation activity for your children. Adult supervision required.

What You'll Need:

• Fresh strawberries
• A berry colander
• White chocolate chips
• Blue sprinkles
• Wax paper
• A cookie sheet
• A microwave
• A microwaveable bowl
• A spoon
• A small bowl
• A large bowl
• Bounty paper towels

Instructions:

1. First, you will need to do a small amount of preparation. Place the fresh strawberries in a berry colander and rinse them under water.
2. Line a large bowl with a few Bounty paper towels and transfer the washed strawberries to this bowl to dry.
3. Line a cookie sheet with wax paper.
4. Dump the blue sprinkles into the small bowl.
5. Place the white chocolate chips into a microwaveable bowl and melt in the microwave on high for 30 seconds.
6. Mix the white chocolate with a spoon. Continue to microwave for 15 seconds at a time until fully melted.
7. Dip a strawberry into the melted white chocolate so that the bottom two thirds of it are covered.
8. Dip the bottom third of the white-chocolate-covered strawberry into the blue sprinkles and set on the cookie sheet.
9. Continue making the red, white, and blue strawberries.
10. Chill the strawberries in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve them.
