At Home with Bounty

A personalized coffee mug is a great Father's Day craft that your child can make as a gift for dad to celebrate the day. After all, does dad really need another boring tie? Not only will dad receive a personalized Father's Day gift but he'll have a keepsake he can use daily for years to come. Adult supervision required.

What You'll Need:

• A plain white coffee mug
• A thin, pointed paintbrush
• Enamel paints
• Bounty paper towels
• Wrapping paper

Instructions:

1. Wash and dry the mug with a Bounty paper towel before starting.
2. Select two different colors of paint. First, have your child dip their thumb into one color of paint and then press it onto the mug. Then, using their pointer finger have them dip it into a different color and then press it onto the mug to create two fingerprints next to each other, one large and one small.
3. Using the thin paintbrush and black paint, have your child add a tiny pair of arms and legs to each fingerprint so that they appear to be holding hands. Then have them paint the word "Daddy" above the fingerprint figures and paint the words "and (your child's name)" across the bottom.
4. Let the personalized coffee mug air-dry. This may take several days.
5. Once it's done baking, have your child wrap their Father's Day craft to present to dad on his special day.
