At Home with Bounty

Nothing says Easter like sparkly glittered eggs. And luckily they're easy to make as well! You probably have all the supplies on hand already -- it's just a matter of setting aside about a half hour with the kids to make these creative expressions of springtime joy. You can also use this same technique with colored eggs, though plain eggs work just fine. Adult supervision required.

What You'll Need:

• One dozen hard-boiled eggs
• Non-toxic craft glue
• Assorted colors of glitter
• Bowls
• Bounty paper towels
• Paper plates

Instructions:

1. Spread out Bounty paper towels on a flat surface to protect it from the glue and glitter.
2. Lay out the eggs on the paper towels.
3. Place the glitter in bowls, separating by color.
4. Decorate the eggs with the glue, making patterns like swirls, smiley faces, hearts, or lines. The designs you make are limited only by your imagination.
5. Sprinkle the glitter over the eggs so it sticks on the glue. If necessary, hold the egg with one hand while you sprinkle the glitter with another. Or enlist the help of a friend to make the decorating easier.
6. Shake off the excess glitter over the paper towels.
7. Place the glittered eggs on a paper plate to dry.
8. Scrunch up the paper towels and throw them away, being careful not the spill the excess glitter.
9. Once they're dry, put the eggs in an egg carton and refrigerate until needed. Use them in Easter baskets or egg hunts, and don't forget when you're done to make deviled eggs or egg salad sandwiches.
