At Home with Bounty

Beaded bracelets are easy to make and they look lovely on your arms. Make bracelets for yourself and for your friends. You can choose the beads and the designs yourself to make these bracelets original and personalized. Show them off once the warm weather rolls around! Adult supervision required.

What You'll Need:

• Beads with holes
• Stretchy cord
• Safety scissors
• Bounty paper towels

Instructions:

1. Lay out a few Bounty paper towels on a flat surface.
2. Spread your beads out onto the towels and think of a design for the bracelet. Use beads of different shapes, sizes, and colors. Arrange beads randomly or come up with a pattern such as big green bead, small yellow bead, small green bead, big green bead, small yellow bead, etc.
3. Place the stretchy cord over your wrist and cut a piece that is long enough to fit loosely around a wrist. Make it half an inch longer, just in case.
4. Make a knot at the end of the cord.
5. Place the beads one by one on the cord. Keep on going until you reach the end of the cord.
6. Hold both ends of the cord and place the bracelet around your wrist. If it is too long, cut the end of the cord. If it seems fine, make a tight knot at the end to hold both ends of the cord together.
7. Slip the bracelet on your wrist. Make a few more beaded bracelets and wear them separately, or together. Make a few more beaded bracelet designs for your friends.
