At Home with Bounty

This graduation centerpiece is sure to steal the show at any party you're throwing for your grad. Combining chocolate and flowers into a lovely centerpiece will surely give your guests some lovely (and edible) eye candy. If you're having a really big party with many tables, feel free to create a couple of these centerpieces on a smaller scale. Adult supervision required.

What You'll Need:

• Good quality chocolate kisses (preferably with silver wrappers)
• Red and white carnations
• A block of floral foam
• Red and white tissue paper
• An 8"-10" round wicker basket
• Red and white striped plastic straws (thick ones)
• Adhesive
• Bounty paper towels
• Red, white, and silver paper streamers

Instructions:

1. At the bottom of the wicker basket, alternate layers of red and white tissue paper so that the tissue hangs over the edge of the basket.
2. Add a block of floral foam to the center of the basket.
3. Using some adhesive, attach the silver-wrapped chocolate kisses onto the ends of some red and white striped plastic straws. Let the glue dry.
4. Carefully stick the other end of the straws into the block of floral foam.
5. Alternate adding red and white carnations to the floral foam.
6. When you've added all your flowers and chocolate, tuck any leftover sheets of tissue paper around the floral foam to cover it.
7. Adjust the flowers in the basket so everything is spaced evenly.
8. Throw some red, white, and silver streamers over the centerpiece to give it a festive look.
9. This makes one large graduation centerpiece. You could also buy smaller baskets and make a few centerpieces if you have many tables.
